Hello, I’m Barnaby Turner, Director at Everwarm Plumbing Ltd
I started my own business - BT Plumbing Keynsham, around 5 years ago. Having worked for other plumbing companies, I wanted to create a business which provided a really positive experience for the customer, and for myself!
I focussed on being reliable, honest and tidy.
In the beginning, I was very unsure and nervous about whether I could do the job and run a plumbing business of my own. However, I started to receive regular positive feedback from customers, so I continued.
Within around 3 years, I had accumulated over 150 positive reviews from customers, and was genuinely amazed and so pleased that it was going well. I was and still am finally confident that I do a good job for people, and people really appreciate it!
Due to a combination of factors - new family commitments, injury and personal ambition too, I thought about whether there were other plumbers out there who could get to customers quicker than I could by myself, and provide excellent customer service too.
When I was named ‘BT Plumbing Keynsham’, I found that customers were a bit unsure when it wasn’t me doing the job, since I was BT (Barnaby Turner). Hence the name change to ‘Everwarm Plumbing’. I felt like this name covered both the plumbing & heating sides of the business.
The plumbers I found started receiving hugely positive feedback too, and have been doing so for over 6 months now. I’m really confident that the customer is looked after, just as well as, if not better than with me!
lthough I started out with a utopian vision of the perfect plumber, I have found that with time I make all the same mistakes as everyone.
I miss calls, I run late, I forget things. But I find that I maintain these core principles:
* I’m polite to the customer
* I do my very best work
* I listen to their choices and decisions, it’s their home
* I keep them informed along the way
* I leave it clean and tidy, as I found it
I stick to these principles and I’m confident about providing a really positive experience to homeowners.
Thanks for reading and I hope to see you in the future!
Best wishes,
Barney 🙂
